Phoenix Inspired was founded in 2015 by Madhumita, a director / producer who has over a decade of experience across multiple film industries. Raised in Indonesia, Madhumita graduated from Hollywood before she moved back to India to pursue her passion in films. Since then, she has directed / produced feature films, TV shows, corporate ads, music videos and content for OTT.

It all began one day when our founder Madhumita, had hired a professional to subtitle her feature film which had gotten selected at a film festival. The result was disastrous. Quite the perfectionist, she was appalled by how unintentionally funny and ridiculous the subtitles were written. Some lines were mere translations, and some were incomprehensible sentences. It is then that Madhumita decided to start subtitling films. One film became two, and films became shows and within a short span of time, Phoenix Inspired has clients across multiple medium and platforms.

With a team of professionals based in Mumbai / Chennai and associates in other major cities, Phoenix Inspired is in the helm of the woods (Bollywood, Kollywood, Tollywood). Each member of the team has one motto and one only; If this were your film / show, how far would you go to make it perfect?
